What inspired action actually is
Have you ever gone with a gut feeling without knowing why? No clear reason, just a sense that something was true. You took the steps anyway and somehow got where you were trying to go.
That's inspired action. It's being driven by intuition instead of outside pressure or noise. You just know it's going to work out.
There might be fear underneath it, and that's usually your ego talking. But you should trust your gut more than the fear.
The quiet knowing
Intuition is much quieter than you would think. It's a pull, a sense of knowing that happens without much thought. It's very easy to dismiss.
Most of us have been trained to trust logic over instinct. Facts over feeling. So when your gut says one thing and everyone around you says another, it's tempting to override yourself.
The more you notice when your gut was right though, the easier it becomes to trust it the next time.
Journal prompts
- List three past decisions you made on intuition alone. What did the detractors say, and was it based in fact or fear?
- Out of your present decisions you're sitting with, what are your reservations, and are they based in fact or fear?
- Pick one future decision. How can you use inspired action to determine the best course of action?
Thank you for being here, and for taking the time to connect with your inner guide.
