Wonder
Do you ever wonder what happened to your wonder?
Curiosity used to look different as kids. If you wanted to learn about something, you went to the library and dug through it yourself. You went outside and figured things out through trial and error, about the world and about yourself.
Now most of that exploring has been replaced with consuming. Our opinions come pre-formed, shaped by whatever's trending. The internet tells us what to think, when to say it, and how to say it, and we rarely stop to ask where any of it actually came from.
We were never built to be productive around the clock. Constant output isn't sustainable, and sometimes the antidote isn't more effort. It's a little bit of wonder.
You don't have to become an expert in anything. You just have to let yourself get curious again. Pick something up because it's interesting, not because it's useful.
What would your week look like if you gave yourself permission to explore something with no end goal?

- What attracted you to this subject in the first place?
- What did you learn that you didn't already know going in?
- What's one thing you didn't get to that you're willing to research further later on?
